Fossicking for Sapphire and Zircon

Buy a bucket of sapphire wash ( sapphire bearing dirt) dig your own bucket, sieve and wash and find your own sapphire. Tuition is given to help you on your way. We have cutters who will turn your rough sapphire or zircon into a beautiful gem, and then the choice is yours for a piece of jewellery. A special momento of your trip to the Sapphire Gemfields.

Cafe and Restaurants

Open 7 days from 8.30 to 4.30 pm Breakfast, Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea is available. Lunch hours are from 11 am until 2 pm.

Restaurant is open on Friday nights for Pizzas, the best around.

In the season from April until the end of September the restaurant is open on Friday, Saturday and Sundays, Sunday night is the ever popular roast night, choice of 4 roasts and fresh vegetables.

Alfresco dining is set in the Award winning garden, with lots of the local wild birds to see. In the winter their is outdoor fires to keep you warm and the skies are great for star gazing.
